Wilson & Sharp Investments ltd has grown from a long lasting friendship between partners, Sam Wilson and Craig Sharp. With both partners having involvement in residential and commercial developments we decided to formalize our alliance by officially commencing our Investment Company on 25th of March 2011.

We were initially involved together on a development in Newquay, which was funded by the group holding company Samatt Ltd. The development consisted of 51 luxury 2/3 bed apartments in prime location overlooking the infamous Fistral Beach and Golf Course. All units were sold by 2009 with a GDV of £16,000,000 and Newquays first 1 million pound apartment was on the map. It was and still is today one of Newquay’s most desired locations.

During the end quarter of 2009 we invested into Portugal for personal use, this has now become one of our most profitable holiday lets with 4 luxury villas all grossing €55,000 per unit. We still own and maintain the properties in our personal portfolio today.

Since March 2011 Wilson & Sharp saw a gap in the market for quality student accommodation so engaged to develop town Centre apartments to cater for Bournemouth University ever growing student population. The properties have been full since July 2011 and are now booked all the way through to June 2013, these are very smart and clean student apartments which have put us in high demand for BU lettings. Due to our success on the town center apartments we decided to work closely with the University and investigate exactly what was needed for the lack of supply in student accommodation, for us it was imperative to have first and foremost prime location.

October 2011 Wilson & Sharp had a vision to investigate prime location for a potential student development, the potential site we discovered was a current office block which was primarily on offer for rent, however after hard negotiation we managed to secure this prime positioned land, for which Wilson & Sharp would stamp there name firmly as a key player in student property.

We now have Bournemouth University and EF language school all prepared for 2013 rentals with a future plan to grow with Wilson & Sharp for a further 500 beds for the increasing campus.
